Weekend Update
My weekend was good. Unfortunately, I severely procrastinated. I have two different three-page papers due on Tuesday and then on Wednesday that I haven't read for and haven't started. Today my thoughts and best wishes are with my grandpa Dave Cavalieri, who is having a heart operation on his Aorta today at Marquette General Hospital. He just turned 83 years old on Friday, January 13. He is a stubborn, extremely intelligent, tough old Yooper. He fought for the US Army in World War II as a ball turret gunner and bombadier in B- ( Read more... ) -
Saturday is a good day
This weekend has been good, but I can tell that I'm really going to have to put in a lot of effort to get back into doing homework and reading for classes. My usual January Depression is setting in. I have been informed that Chien and I failed to throw away all of our foodstuffs that were in our room right before we left for our Christmas break, so some kind of food matter has been rotting in our room apparently, ever since somebody entered our room and unplugged our fridge. Depressed, but at least I have the rest of the week off before school
Vince left today around 11A central time for Stillwater, OK. He will have a long journey across several of the states, the venture will be about 1100 miles. My whole family is down and depressed.
