I go through spurts where I like them then there are times when I don't. I even had a period in my life where I hated hot dogs.

I am wondering if this is a regional thing. I have been to a lot of picnics/gatherings and all I have ever seen is people putting ketchup and mustard on their dogs. I'm talking about adults too.

In fact, when people plan and shop for picnics or cookouts the condiment list always includes ketchup, mustard, sweet relish, and onions.

There is a store just over the bridge in Indiana where they make a hamburger hotdog. Much easier to eat! Tasty too. :)

A hamburger hotdog? What kind of meat is used? What toppings are put on it?

They stuff the casing with ground round, I presume. I'd not stake any opinion that it would be Angus beef. ;)

You top it like you do to any hamburger or hotdog. Ketchup, mustard, relish (perhaps).

Oh yea, I lived in NYC for a while and the greater metro-area for a longer time. It is definitely a no-no to put ketchup on hotdogs. AND it is also a no-no to put mustard on a hamburger. Me personally, I like mustard. I eat that alone on my hotdogs, unless I am adding onions or Michigan sauce, or on a rare occasion relish.
