Why do I do this to myself?

A friend invites me to a cookout. I have plenty of time to plan ahead and be prepared but what do I do? I wait until the day of the cookout to polish my nails and toenails with an elaborate design. Have you ever tried to eat bar-b-que with newly polished nails? It is very hard to do...trust me

Yeah, but if I really cared I would do them ahead of time to make sure they are perfect. Rush jobs usually equal mistakes.

Well, being a psychology student I would tell you why you do that, but where would the fun in letting you squirm be? =P
