I know how you feel. It's hard to find things to do when you have a new job and you just can't find the time to figure out what else to do.
I miss college where you had your set schedule and on the weekends we had games to go to and it just seemed like everything was set. I constantly think about how much fun I used to have and how much I miss it.
And then I find myself here in a completely different environment and thousands of miles from home wondering what I can do in my spare time because it feels like there's nothing here for me to do.
Lately I've also felt lost as far as extracurriular stuff, especially since I work 12 hour shifts 3-4 days a week and not the same day every week...I've had a tough time finding something that will work with that.
Don't get too frustrated, you'll figure it out! And I definitely think that you should still keep dancing...it's your passion and you're awesome at it!!!
I totally agree. I feel like everyone else is going forward and I am standing still. People our age are getting married, people I knew in high school are having babies, and I still feel like I am a 12 year old in a 26 year olds body. This whole 20s thing is not what I thought it was cracked up to be. It seems like every other 20-something has their whole life together and I am struggling just to keep all the balls in the air soemtimes. So in short, I feel you on this one.
P.S. I'm sorry the dance team thing didn't work out. But I'd be happy to take some classes with you sometime. That new Rock City dance place has pay by the class.
