How do you close a chapter of your life?
One that was so beautiful and well-written,
One that shaped you into the person you have become,
One that overtook your whole life,
A chapter that changed your life completly,
One that you don't want to shut,
But know you have to.
How do you let go of love?
Love that was so beautiful and amazing,
Love that shaped you,
Love that overtook you,
Love that changed you,
Love you don't want to let go of,
But know you have to.
*this one has a weird rythm.... but oh well.*
Songs on the radio,
Singing of your love that is gone,
Reminding me of you,
Giving my tears a beat,
as they dance down my cheeks.
Photos of you around my room,
a constant reminder of your smile,
and the smile you gave me,
the smiles in all my best memories.
Looking at myself in the mirror,
Staring at the girl you changed,
the one who fell in love with you,
Staring at the girl you once held,
But then said goodbye to.
