It's really not considered spontaneous "grassroots" social networking when you promote it for two weeks before the fact. Especially when the most of people who show up at the events say they first heard about it from your network

Yeah, Nancy Pelosi yesterday referred to it as "Astroturf". Given that Fox has been trumpeting it for the last week, that websites used to promote it are lobbying groups, etc. I'd say its pretty accurate.
