Ugh...got around to researching my insurance today. Found out I have a maximum of $3000 out of pocket. Granted, David will be responsible for half of the charges, but still $1500 will take a huge chunk of change outta my savings. Man oh Man. I know, no one said it was cheap having a baby

if it's any re-assurance, my doctor only was allowed like $1500 but the hospital was a couple grand with each stay...and I had c-sections. the charges may exceed that but the allowance are what matter. so you may not reach the full $3000.00 oop, that just the most you would have in coins/ded.

i had hmo w/ layla, and the network blue ppo w/ lucas though and only pd a $200/$300 admission fee and then a $100 copay to the dr.
