Thought Michael was going to Minneapolis last week for a Mothersbaugh opening, but it turned out he was going to Phoenix, so I drove there to meet him. Minneapolis is this week. Went to see the Klaus Nomi movie, The Nomi Song, at the AFI festival last week. AMAZING. There's an incredible amount of footage that I hadn't seen. Still in Hollywood; today is Todd's birthday. Michael was here for a week and we had a divine time. Stayed all week at Mark's in the hills. Just returned from a wonderful party and am disgruntled at my aversion to them. Had a nice time, spoke with about 15 people I know, listened to some DJs, a live band, drank free alcohol - and was home before 12:30. A vote for Bush could be a vote for civil war. Then perhaps the USA would stop declaring wars in other countries. At the least, it's a surefire way to keep America's money at home.
