Oh! Like I said, it's a role-playing game! You choose what type of character you want to be--you get to choose from seven races and thirteen classes--and you go through the game as that character, rolling die as the adventure proceeds. For Monster World, it's a fantasy-based game, and is set up to have different areas of a fantasy world. The players' goal is to defeat the Dark Master, played by one person, and they do this by going through the storyline as chosen by the Dark Master's player.

A, um, role-playing game? he's a little embarrassed to be asking all these questions ...How do you play roles? Is it like acting?

You must not be from my world...[or so he assumes]
It's sort of like acting, only you "act" through made-up characters. Think of it as playing out a storybook.

It wasn't your fault, you don't need to apologize for what the spirit did.

Not quite, but it's where I got my practice from. I'm used to carving figurines of people, so your Blue Eyes was...special, I guess.

And..there were no ill affects from the previous events?

Oh...I...it could have been worse. Working on this has kept my mind preoccupied...
