I liked how you realistically had Aki go through different stages (have you read the 5 stages of grief by Elizabeth Kubler Ross?). It was sweet to show him thinking of and wanting Asami and to drown his sorrows with Asami in tears and sex. But then just like in real life he second guessed himself and everyone else and imagined different scenarios and then pulled back. I do not think Asami would be the kind to walk away. And with his money..Aki would get the latest in all treatments..Asami would make incredible headway into the research for ALS.
So Aki is in denial now and of course Asami senses something is wrong and that his kitten is up to something..
You know Aki is right..their last game is afoot...

Oh wow, I've never heard of those 5 stages before. I wrote it based on how I would feel if I die while keeping Aki's mindset. Never thought the progress was somewhat similar to the 5 stages :O I guess psychologically speaking, everyone would tend to think the same thing when they're faced with grief. Thank you for the info :D Now I think I can squeeze more reaction with this :)
As for Asami, yeah... I don't think Asami will walk away. He'll do everything in his power if Aki needs it. But then again, it's Aki we're talking about. He's so full of insecurities. And it's fun to focus on that :)
It's their last game, but Asami is kept in the dark about it D:

I have a few situation lined up, but still have no idea which to use yet :D
lol, my writing solely based on my mood and spare time. If I'm bored (with nothing to do), I could end up writing up to 2 chaps a day. But then again, my mood is unpredictable. I'll see what I can do :)
