Thanks for coming up. We really do appreciate all the efforts made by the incredible group of NPCs we have. And ryxander is a stickler for spreading the love among the NPCs. It's why it takes her so long to produce that timeline, so that people get roles they want.
I was very glad to see you up in New England for 7V. :) Sorry I wasn't more help in getting you to the NPC cabins where you could drop your stuff. I'll have to remember to ask you more about your Aetherial that you played several times throughout the weekend. That NPC of yours definitely looked like he had some backstory there to discover.

I probably shouldn't oversell this point. What I was told to do in case the situation came up was to tell the PC I would get back to them later on that, which is pretty much the default fall back position when faced with something you aren't prepared for or briefed about anyway. So it wasn't like my foresight averted any great crisis or potential disaster. Mostly it just gave me a little bit of satisfaction to prove to myself that at times I'm pretty good at predicting player behavior and responses to plot events
( ... )
Nothing wrong with wanting your hard work to be appreciated -- and I'll be the first to admit that I rarely have enough brain to properly appreciate my NPCs at runtime, or the coordination to make them cookies later. :(
I hear the 7V player base is very nice and well-supplied with cookies, though.
