i kinda realized something over the last few weeks. friendships really arent that important to life. if you have a family and they care about you, and you have God, youre pretty much set. im still alive...and i dont think i consider many people to be my friends anymore. i stopped believing in friends. if you let people get too close...theyll hurt

i've never heard a view like that before, but i know everybody has different views on things due to their personal experiences and beliefs and so forth. it kinda takes guts to post something like that...like how you really really feel when it comes to that kinda stuff...*pats you on the back* good job! ^^

my personal view is that when i get close enough to somebody to confide in them, for instance my best friend, i don't consider them friends but family. they're part of my family and i love them as such, and would do anything to protect them. i actually only have a few "friends" so to speak...most of them i just consider as part of my family..ya know what i mean?

hey girl! i totally agree that friends should not be your closest confidences..your family and Jesus have that right. and ppl will let you down but i know that i let ppl down too. i have some really close friends and yes things happen that can hurt our friendship, but we love each other enough to stay friends. i think if a friendship is based on your Christianity, God will give you the strength to stay friends. I love you to death and i really hope you keep comin to huddles : )!!
