Yay, Im weird, I love hurricanes! There is something about them, that is actually kind of relaxing...maybe its the whole "no power so you cant do anything else" deal. I dunno...hopefully no school on monday...we'll see...

hey, are ya'll staying down there?
we were just wondering.
i'm headed to birmingham this afternoon because i'll probably need to get to work monday if i can but i'll have a better, clearer route down 280 then trying to get there from montgomery on those little
country lake roads. anyway, i've heard the traffic from the south on I-65 is absolutely insane and they reversed the south bound lanes. crazy!
anyway, just wanted to check in with you. tell your parents and michelle we said hi. hurricane time!

Yep, we're staying here. Mom and Dad would rather not get into all that traffic. They did reverse the south bound lanes, I just saw a shot of the interstate on the news and it looked crazy. I would be so confused, haha. There is a mandatory evacuation for us, but its only a category 2, and we never go for those things anyway. But thanks for asking, have a good weekend and stay safe!

i wouldn't want to get in all that traffic mess either. mike said last night when he was coming home from work (about 1:00 am) down I-65 from Birmingham (he was going to come to montgomery this weekend) there was so much northbound traffic at 1 AM!! he decided to just stay in birmingham because he didn't want to get stuck in it coming back to birmingham sunday afternoon. yucky stuff.

i love hurricanes, too! :) it's weird, but I miss them because up here we don't get enough of the storm. Anyway, stay safe and don't try to drive on the messed up interstate!
