I'm going to take the jbr's because I might be able to change them into abr's.
One question....is that a real image pack or just a picture/preview of the brushes?
I know you can make brushes from the preview, but in the case of borders...how do you get the middle part of the brush that is supposed to be clear.....transparent? Know what I mean? Because now that the borders are in preview form they have a background to them. Does this make sense?
Well, from my understanding and experience(all the ones I've ever downloaded), an image pack is just a picture of the brushes.
I don't know how Photoshop does it, but when you create a brush in PSP(7 anyway) white becomes transparent. Just make sure to only have the 100x100 square selected, with no extra(otherwise the brush will be "bigger" then it should be). It ought to work that way in PS as well, but I'm not 100%.
If .jbr to .abr works could you let me know(and also what version of PS you're using)? Thanks!
See, I didn't know the white part would become transparent. That makes me very happy. To me an "image pack" are individual pictures of each brush on a seperate file. A "preview" is a picture of all the brushes on one file.
I use Photoshop Elements. It's annoying that I can't use PS:CS brushes with Elements. Luckily I can use PS7 brushes.
And I can go into "my computer" and just "rename" whatever.jbr brushes to whatever.abr and it works. It's just those darn PS:CS brushes I can't use.
