Apparently the Gin Blossoms are back together and just put out a new album. They are playing at the Williamsburg Winery for $12 sometime in September.

I think that's kind of neat.

What isn't neat, however, is being forced to stay up until 6:30 and then getting up for work at 7:00. Today will be a long day.

No worries, I totally understand. I'll be there tonight and am quite excited that you will be in attendence as well!

You didn't miss that much, aside from splitting a handle of gin, the new "its always sunny in philadelphia," shirtless (followed by pantsless) o'clock, Nate's new 360 (and the subsequent playing of Oblivion). Oh and Matt and Ali breaking up. Which is why I was up all night.

Really, it's just all the more reason to bring the fun tonight. Nothin' like a party to get your friends back in fighting form.

i saw them during their first breakup back in new years of 2000. and aparently they'e gotten back together 3 or 4 times until now, which i guess means they need another paycheck for playing hey jealousy

When I started getting into "alternative" music as a kid, the Gin Blossoms were one of several bands that my mother found to be surprisingly tolerable.

Also, I was all "WTF" there for a second because I got the breakup of the Gin Blossoms mixed up with the breakup mentioned above.

Both my mother and I love the Gin Blossoms. I don't have a problem with liking them at all. If I was in town, I would pay 12 bucks to hear them in a heartbeat. They were from back in the day where popular bands had actual musical talent.

unless you are available for friday night fun (snakes on a plane and whatnot,) I won't be able to see you this weekend. I'm going on vacation until thursday. We do need to chill out sometime soon! I'd like to have a little sober hanging out time with you.

Is Matt's Snakes on a Plane party on friday or saturday? I'm planning on going to that. It depends on what time you'd want to go see that movie--I've got a date scheduled but the man in question probably wouldn't mind catching a later showing after the romance is concluded.

I do believe that it's friday. I have no idea what showing they're seeing. I might not even be able to make it, as I will be returning by bus that evening from a job interview in NYC.
