Chapter 1: The First Meeting
Zenrai sipped at his wine and winced at its taste, goblin wine was always so bitter compared to that of the wineries in Silvermoon City. He set the glass down on the table and looked around the bar with bored green eyes.
The bar in Booty Bay was lively with patrons of all different races, which wasn’t unusual, but it was slightly more crowded then normal because of the storm that was raging outside. There were a few people who actually braved the storm, out in the jungles of the Stranglethorn Vale. Zenrai was not one of those people. He preferred staying nice and dry indoors with the rest of the people in the bar, even if most of them were Alliance. The blood elf warlock sighed and pulled out his book on the myths of Stranglethorn from his satchel.
Suddenly, there was gush of wind as one more patrons entered the bar. Zenrai looked up from his book when it almost flew out from his hands from the strong howling wind. There was a Tauren druid standing in the doorway, using his big mass to try and block a good majority of the wind from causing any more damage.
“Move it mon, I’m gettin’ drenched out ‘ere!”
The Tauren quickly moved his way inside, allowing his companion into the warm, dry tavern.
Zenrai’s eyes fell upon the other new comer and blushed a deep red that also colored the tips of his ears.
A Troll shaman stood in the entrance way, the candles on the tables caused the rain water on his bluish skin to glisten in their light. The rain had soaked his armor to his well muscled body and weighed his fiery red hair down from its normal spiky hairstyle. Small droplets slowly dripped down his tusks, and the warlock noticed that one was broken in half. Zenrai then became captivated with the Troll’s eyes, they were the color a light amber and lit up with laughter and amusement towards his Taruen friend.
He continued to watch them as the made their way towards the bar to order some drinks. After a few minutes the Tauren seemed to say something to the shaman, and suddenly glowing emerald eyes were met by cool amber ones.

Surya hated it when it rain in his homeland, because when it rained, it poured. He tried to shake off what water he could as he stepped into the dry tavern.
“Oh yah, let’s just mount up an’ ride to Booty Bay. It’s not dat long of a ride an’ we’d be savin’ the gold we’d be usin’ from takin’ the flight path ‘ere.” Surya said in a mocking tone. He rolled his eyes once before letting out a good natured laugh. “Ya, dat was a brilliant idea, mon.”
The Tauren, Brisco Swifthoof, shrugged a massive shoulder, grinning. “Well, at least we now have money for drinks.”
Surya laughed. “I like the way you’d be thinkin’, mon!”
The two made their way to the bar and ordered from the Goblin bartender. They both talked, to each other and some of the other patrons around them. After a few moments Brisco paused in his drinking.
“You know, Surya, that Blood Elf over there has been staring at you ever since we entered the tavern.” Brisco said, looking over at the dark haired elf briefly before looking back at his friend.
Surya shrugged. “So? Ja know I’m not interested in ‘dose female Blood Elves, Brisco.” He loved male Blood Elves, and was notorious for flirting with them, even when he knew they were straight. There always been something about those graceful, arcane addicted creatures that made him want to have his naughty way with them. But, unfortunately, he always seemed to attract the female version of them, Spirits only knew why.
“I never said it was a female, now did I?” The druid chuckled deeply, tilting his head over in the direction of the elf in discussion.
That statement seemed to perk the Troll shaman right up. He set down his drink and moved his golden gaze around the room. His eyes finally landed on the Blood Elf and studied him with intent interest. The Blood Elf looked to be a warlock, what with the Succubus hovering close to his shoulder. Soft cream colored skin glowed warmly from the candlelight; the only blemish that Surya could see on that perfect looking skin was a scar that ran along the warlock’s right cheek. His long bluish-black hair was tied up near the top of his skull; the few silken strands that had escaped from the tie’s hold fell neatly over the front of his shoulders. Glowing green eye watched him with such intensity that it made Surya shiver, but when they met his own amber colored eyes they quickly averted to the book he was holding in his hands. The Blood Elf’s face flushed and he fidgeted in his sit like a child when they’re caught with their hands in a cookie jar.
The Druid chuckled as he watched his traveling companion practically drool all over the floor. “Are you just going to sit there and drool the entire time?”
Surya’s head jerked, as if he was suddenly aware of his surroundings again. “Huh? What?”
Brisco let out a sharp laugh, shoving his friend’s shoulder in the direction of the Blood Elf. “Get over there and introduce yourself, fool!”
The Shaman blinked a few times at the Tauren then grinned. “Alright, alright, I’ll make da talk-ity talk-ity with the little Elfie.” He slowly made his way to towards the Blood elf, who looked frantic because he was. Surya was almost to him when…
“Surya!”
Surya suddenly found himself with a young female Blood Elf latched to him, snuggling her face into his chest. Eww.
“Oh Surya, I thought that was you. How have you been?” The blond haired elf looked up at him grinning like and idiot.
The Troll growled low in his throat, trying to get the female off of him. “Just fine, dat is until ya came along, Lila.”
Lila giggled and latched on tighter. “Aww, you’re not happy to see me? I’m hurt!”
“Good, now let go! I have a Blood Elf to go flirt with.” He continue to pry at the girl’s arms. Lila was a good friend of his, and he loved her like a sister but…….she had the worst timing ever.
“Oh? Where is this pretty boy at?” The Paladin looked around trying to see who may have caught the Shaman’s eye.
“He’ right over…..” Surya pointed towards an empty table, an empty cup and wine bottle the only remnants that were left of the previous occupant. “…there….” He slowly looked down at the female blood elf, glaring as she sheepishly smiled up at him.
“I should start running now, shouldn’t I?”
“Ya have 5 seconds……1…2…”
Lila took off up the stairs of the tavern, hoping she would make it to her room before Surya caught up to her. If there was one thing that she learned about Surya, never get in between him and another man or there’d be hell to pay.
“…5.” The Troll quickly followed, easily keeping from slamming into anyone as he ran after her.
Brisco watched all this going on as he drank his ale, chuckling to himself. He’ll have to tell Surya that he caught the name of that Blood Elf he was so enthralled by, later of course, he was far too amused by his friends antics to have them stop on his account.Type your cut contents here.
