It is for me. I hadn't really been independent for a long time until I declared independence from Russia... and that's not normally an easy to do.

Yep. I declared independence from Russia in 1917 on December 6th.

Well, you have to get other countries to recognize that you are and independent country. It's rather difficult because Russia is so scary. A lot of people didn't want say I was an independent country and get Russia mad at them.

I was just walking around the village and he came running up to me. He was so happy to see me. He wasn't here long though... his coat wasn't even dirty.

Well, I don't know if he came later. Someone could have been looking after him. He doesn't look like he's been running around alone for a while.

Yep. His name is Hanatamago.

Yep, I know what it means. I had so many other possible names for him, but Sweden didn't like them so we compromised on Hanatamago.
