That stupid kid!

I wish I had a dollar for every time I have said, “If I had…” I would be rich by now. Instead, I have lots of stories of being a dumb kid and in some cases some scars to show for it ( Read more... )

afterthought, dumb kids, lj idol, season seven, week five, drugs, drinking

Hehehehehehe! Yeah, the side of me that very few know about me.

I lead such a quiet life these days. In so many ways I love my quiet life of today. But there is something to those crazy days too. If one is responsible that is.

Oh my... the things we do as kids. You're right, we so totally don't think straight when we're kids. We're kinda knuckleheads actually. lol... Sad that you lost out on your In n Out... but glad you were okay. That could have been bad indeed.

Yeah, losing the In and Out was a drag but being alive is a whole lot better.

Now for a second time in my comments I feel the need for an In and Out burger run very soon.

I did something similar with a friend's parents' alcohol supply as a teen - only for me it was Gin.

Thank goodness we grow out of such things!

Gin ay? Never had the stuff. Brandy, vodka, and a few other stuffs are in my book of favorites.

I do think they had gin in the closet though.

They say that drunks can have the most horrendous falls and not suffer because the drink has relaxed them enough that it doesn't have the same impact. I had an awful lot of bruises after one particular night that suggested otherwise though!

Teenage years should be about expressing and getting rid of your wild tendencies. Unless it's my children. Who are not allowed to be wild at all. No sir :P

No kidding, which is why no ones kids are supposed to ever hear of our stories or even see them. Thank goodness my kids are furry ones.

And because of drinking I do also have a special hatred for drunk driving. That has brought a lot of hurt to people's lives.

You're lucky you didn't get hurt falling down the hill or flying out of the back of the truck. This is a totally different side of you. Wow!

Oh yes, the things I keep hidden in my box of stories to only come out into daylight when it seems like a good idea.
