I didn't realize Tennyson had some extra training, that is damn awesome. Great job on this... Unity. Interesting word.

Yeah, when I went into class they knew I needed a dog who could walk different paces, that I needed to primarily on the left.

They do more of that sort of thing these days for people.

Wow, this is really informative. I've seen and heard about guide dogs, and instinctively knew how much they helped. I just never knew how helpful they were.

Good luck this week.

Yeah, they are pretty special animals. I'm glad to have my boy, that is for sure. Well, all of them really. Smile! Each one has had wonderful memories to carry with me throughout life.

What a beautiful relationship you have with your dogs! And what a perfect take on the prompt!

I thought this was very well written and touchingly poignant.

Non-fiction is my "home base" for writing. It is definitely the genre in which I feel most comfortable. However, I'm also very aware that fiction seems to be the genre that people in the Flame tend to appreciate the most. This is a beautiful essay, but I think it might be a bit too "straight up" essay for some people in the community. That doesn't mean I think you should drastically change it, however. I loved it.

I once felt heartbroken because I had submitted a creative non-fiction piece that I had reworked like crazy and that my writing instructor, an amazing writer, adored and had said, "Publish! Publish! Publish!" to a journal and had it rejected because, "It just isn't what we are looking for at this time."

I've since learned not to take that stuff too personally. So, if this doesn't get the reception you had hoped, it isn't the piece. The piece is quite strong.

Thanks, it may not be the kind of thing some will want to read, but that is ok. This is the sort of thing I do best with. I do also like nonfiction as well. I just don't feel I can give that sort of thing the justice it deserves.

We shall see how it goes.

Ah, thanks a whole bunch. I know I am not the greatest of writers, so finding ways to improve is great. You gave me some very helpful tips.

I feel inadiquate trying to write fixtion. So, this is why I stick with non-fiction. It is what I feel most comfortible with.

Appreciate you taking the time. Smile!
