I would vote for the second option, since importing the whole community might take some time (though just making the circle on DW wouldn't be so bad I think) and well I don't wish the 1st option on anyone considering the majority of people I've talked to really dislike the layout and how it lacks a lot of the functions everyone loved.

One would not wish to have anyone to deal with the layout as is.

Yeah, when I heard that the S2 comment pages still have the old functions, I was glad to have a chance not to move - I'm sure most of us would prefer not to move either.. I just hope LJ doesn't try to remove the old functions from the customized comment pages as well. >:/

I vote for the 2nd option as well! This new comment layout took me by surprise ick. I don't exactly mind moving to DW but like Chuu said its going to take some time and maybe some players wouldn't want to go through with it and it would be sad to see people go because of the layout. So I'm going with the 2nd one c:

Either 2 and maybe 3. I say we tough it out til they change the customized page if by then they don't have our mass unscreen on the normal comment pages I'd move completely to Dreamwidth.... :/a Just this past year has been REALLY bad for LJ. I feel bad sometimes, but if they didn't keep changing what wasn't broke.......they kind of deserve it in a sense.... /sigh

I just got back into modding.....now unscreening 1 by 1..... /sobs forever!

I think the second option would be the safest bet! It'll prevent having to go through a potentially arduous process of uprooting and relocating the game and potentially alienating players who want to stay with LJ while hopefully keeping the way we do things intact.

In the event that the default page redesign really is permanent and the constant backlash doesn't drive LJ staff to change it back, or they eliminate the convenient features for S2 styles, however, it might be a good idea to relocate to Dreamwidth- with LJ's constant downtime and other issues, it would be great to move to a more reliable service.

This doesn't affect me so much in terms of the TCG since I just deckmake, but I'd personally go for the 2nd option. However it might not be a bad idea to keep the 3rd idea in mind for the long run if it continues to be an issue. There's the risk of alienating those who don't want to move, but I think the new system is a major pain for the mods to deal with so it may be the best idea in the end.
