Yes, I'd be delighted to have you run this game! :D And it's fine to use pics that are already featured as cards, I'm sure the members would be happy to have that too, heh. I'm glad you don't think the games would overlap too much, I personally don't either and Loop had both games running simultaneously.

I can put you down for Card Match for now (please do! But feel free to take your time with it /o/)! If you or someone else come up with a luck-based game idea you'd like to do, feel free to either switch or take that up as well. Balancing games that need material with the easier ones is a good idea. :D

Yep, pics with characters and stuff is fine! /o/ Just run the game as you like, I believe in giving free reign of games to the mods who run it. And true, you have a point there! In the end, even if both involve song names, they're both different enough to be their own games. I hope the players will enjoy both of these games [and all the other games].

I look forward to your ideas! :D I'm sure you can come up with great ideas; even the simplest idea can grow into something big when you discuss it with people so feel free to toss whatever you have at us. And I agree with you on it being stressful trying to come up with game material for too many games. x_o I hope it won't happen to you again here or anywhere! 2 games for now is fine since we're just starting out.

For game suggestions, various brain teasers are coming to mind. What stands out is a word scramble (maybe for anime or song titles?) where you have a set of words to unscramble and maybe as a bonus round, have certain letters in the words highlighted to give you an extra set of letters to unscramble. I'm also wondering if a puzzle would be doable in a LJ-based TCG; maybe splice an image into multiple parts that you can distribute in a zip file, and people could possibly assemble it in a graphics program? Though I'm unsure if MS Paint would be capable of letting you drag and drop multiple images into the same file. Either way, the name "Broken Record" stands out to me as a title that can be used for a game in this TCG, if not for a puzzle ( ... )

Eee I love word scramble and I'd love to have it as a game here. *__* I love your name suggestion too! I really hope we can find a use for it. As for a puzzle, I think it'd be interesting if we could implement it into a LJ TCG - I remember reading somewhere that some people didn't like LJ TCGs because it didn't have puzzles - so if we could, it'd be a neat addition. XD You technically can assemble a puzzle in MS Paint, except opening up several Paint windows to do it is pretty tedious. :|a Another way to do it is to put it on the site and use Javascript. When you complete the puzzle, you automatically get the prize on the site. Whoever is in charge of the game could just post the link as a game round. Or would going to the site to play a game be too tedious ( ... )

individual brought up the idea of using background music in games. As an idea for Guess the Song, would you like to include background music? :D

I don't see any trouble in visiting a link to go play a javascript puzzle where the randomizer will spit out the rewards on the site itself! No different than clicking an lj-cut, I believe. :D And of course, the puzzle images used could be album covers! (Though I guess that's kind of obvious huh XD)

And I like the idea of including background music! It should provide a very interesting challenge. :D

Thanks so much! c:

I'd love to take the Spin the Wheel-esque game. I thought it could be called High Note, because I imagined it'd be cute if it could be note-shapes on the wheel to get chosen? And obviously the high note'd be good because you'd get more cards!

I'd also have no problem taking on Freebies... I'd have to think of a name for that one though.

Also, as a harder addition to the guess the music type game, we could also have a game with BACKGROUND music.... though it might be easier for people if they guessed the series, and then maybe got an extra card or two for knowing the name/artist. I'm not sure if that'd be too repetitive though!

I love this idea. *_* High Note and freebies are yours! I hope this isn't a weird question, but for High Note, would members have to be able to recognize notes? As an idea, would it be good to have some kind of a key to help members identify the note shapes [assuming people have to point out which note they choose]?

I'm wondering if we could include background music in Norkia's game. I'll talk to her about that and see how it works out. :D Having a background music-only game would be interesting too though, it makes me think of Guess the Location, only with audio.

ALSO sorry to ask a question and a half, but can we donate images for decks? I'm not sure I'll be able to MAKE decks, but I definitely don't have a problem getting images for them~

I have a suggestion for Trivia Games! The thing that first comes to mind is to have a game like that one work similarly to either Colors' Beauty Pageant or Conan's Clues (though this one makes it too much like "Guess the Series").

An alternative idea is to-- well I see you already commented about this. Combine Trivia with Seiyuu. Give the names of several series or the name of a seiyuu and list series that that seiyuu did a song for or the seiyuu that the series have in common.

Still pondering up some ideas to help out. :)

True! Up till now, our games are mostly related to audio, which is nice since it fits the TCG's theme, but it's always possible to consider having trivia games that cover more general areas. I'm thinking of ways to vary trivia games so that it's more than just the typical "Guess Character Name etc" game but there're only so many ways you can do trivia. XD Your ideas make a seiyuu trivia game more and more possible though!

Thank you so much for your help and contribution, Skie! :D

Two possible ideas for trivia - True-or-False, and Odd One Out. True-or-False is pretty self-explanatory, not to mention simple to run. XD

I know I mentioned possibly having Odd One Out as an image game but it'll open up more opportunities if we make it text-based instead. Using my above example, we could list characters and ask players to pick out the odd one out. In this case, it'll be based on the seiyuu they have. We could expand it to series, genre, basically anything.

As an add-on to True-or-False, for False statements, we could also ask players to tell us what the statement should say.
