This weekend was a newly revamped Vulcan Convention in Tampa and I had to pull some all-nighters (14hr days, really) to finish our 2001: A Space Odyssey jumpsuits. Also? While there are many things I miss about Florida, the bugs are not among them. You have my deepest sympathies.

Thx for the hair-love. We have a friend who is a vendor/dealer and he goes to a lot of conventions all over the country and he's offered to sell my Yeoman Rand wigs if I ever decide to make them. Oh, how tempting!

Yeah, FL bugs suck (pun!) but what really sucked was I think I had an overload of mosquito saliva or something in my system, because my allergies were off the charts, even with allergy meds. My eyes have been constantly itchy and, of course, my bites are itchy. Thankfully today things have calmed down signifigantly...which is welcome relief. I haven't gone out in public because my legs look so awful with all the bites...and there ain't no way I'm wearing long pants NOW...it's 90 degrees out already! Spring lasted all of 2 weeks.

However, I think I would rather have the bugs since I can douse myself in OFF!...but there is no repellant for those damn tree frogs!
