Yes it's absolutely depressing and horrible. Part of the reason why I havn't done this project up until now, (it was due yesterday. I'm such a good student) Is because how sad and disgusted I get when reading about these terrible crimes.

I'm all for gore and grotesque morbid things, only when it's pretend though.
