So, somehow I got hooked on The great British bake off...and this show is just so great. I think it was turps33 who said it was the greatest show on television. I agree. It's not my television, but what else is new? I usually only watch shows about people being eaten - scifiy and fantasy, I don't want much reality when I watch TV.

As said I use the dough above, but this one shows how to do it petty good. And you can always change the filling (like I do).

I shall have to bookmark this...I do want to get more adventurous(not the right word but still close) in the baking realm*I mostly only make boxed good* so by scratch would be SUPER cool

urgh...lj hates me too today.
it is not a hard thing to bake. I don't like making boxed stuff, mostly because you'll have to add things to it too and in the end it is even more expensive than if you do it from scratch. at least over here. and if you do it from scratch you always know what is inside, and as I do have allergies and my sis is a vegan... well. you would be surprised what kind of unnecessary things are in a box-mix... :)

as said above I use the Jamie dough, but this one shows how to make caramel and is a good stepy by step instruction. also; mine are filled with apple and not baked as long, because I like the lighter caramel and softer buns...

Yes! That's it exactly about GBBO. I never expected to love it as much as I do, but it's such great, feel good TV that I didn't have a chance not to love it.

it is a great show, even it's a comepetition everyone is so nice and fair about it and I just saw the hidden design cake thing. DO WANT. never did one before. and I like that there are so many things/bakes/cakes I never heard about before in my life. it's exciting.
all my food is delicious \o/. (except for my early vegan cakes...but I am getting better at those too)
