So, mr_niggle's new office-that-he-goes-to-sometimes is on the 25th floor of the building attached to/on top of Grand Central Station. He and some guys were in a meeting there Wednesday when the giant eruption happened ( Read more... )

Wow. Now that's level-headed. But he always was a level-headed guy. You guys have always given me hope that true love does exist. You knew it right away and have endured through all kinds of stuff. It's so wonderful, really.

*I* knew right away -- still took lies, breakups, gettings-back-together, and couples counselling before we were both on the same page.

I wonder if congestion pricing will get rid of the numbskulls who don't understand the term "FIRE LANE."

I have no idea how to get people to stay out of the fire lane. I mean.... with sirens blaring and the sky erupting, you'd think they'd get a clue.

Yeah, seriously. What is the etiquette on: I know you are really scared and need this elevator but I have a wife and kids to get home to? He said he knew I'd be angry if his giving up the spot meant he died and didn't get home to me. Which I probably would have been :) Still proud, though.

Yeahup. I displayed true courage in the face of your potential rage. My exact thoughts were, "Delia's gonna be really pissed if I croak. But, hey, I never let her potential rage stop me in the past!"
