The funeral for Ossie Davis is today, I really wanted to go. I've only interacted with him for no more an hour in my life, but he was such an inspirational man. I'm saddened by the fact that he will not be able to come and speak at our graduation this year. i thought arthur miller had died a long time ago, for some reason. it's sombering to hear this; his work played an important part in our lives. it feels like losing a familiar friend, like mr rogers
