This is quite crappily (and very lazily) done, but I wanted to try to document what happened that morning like this.
I hope it makes sense.
I know they're essentially stick figures, but it still took me a long time to think about how I'd arrange it and get it down onto paper.
More practice needed, I guess.
I still need to buy a sketchpad...

I've been staring at slides that consist of merely a title and a picture, trying to decipher the blobs/colour/occasional arrow into useful information I was supposed to absorb while the lecturer talked us through his art some months ago. the moon so open and honest this evening, hanging so low so heavy along the lavender streaking across the horizon, an inspiration in reflection. magnificence so close to me, its beauty lingering.

 I don't know why mice curl up into balls in the middle of the pavement, or why the birds are singing at half two in the morning, but they make the walks far more pleasant.
Now all I need are night-vision binoculars so I'm not standing staring at silhouettes of branches against the night sky for ten minutes. I'm sure they were robins, dammit.

I'd almost forgotten how cathartic a walk in utterly drenching rain is. Blinding mist. It's pouring down so heavily it almost drowns out other noise.

Having said this, I need a better coat.
