up on yale around 11th-14th street, there's a place that sells sewing machines and looks like it has for about 50 years at least (lots of character). you might give them a try. it's called Bob McDougal's Sewing Machines or something (good name for a band if you're called Bob McDougal).

i forgot to turn it back on after a movie sunday night. Besides, it was my day off. I got your message about Marfa. I need to think it over for a day or so, although that day's a bit over now.
