I try not to rant about politics and feminism too much on here, because I honestly just get myself more infuriated and more worked up the more I write and think about it. But I really must say my peace, and I must say it here, because I cannot say it in class, where it needs to be said.

Unfortunately I imagine that some of those women don't identify as feminists because there is a building stigma that feminists are all out of their goddamn minds. It's a case of the loudest feminists are the crazy bitches. And of course, when the face of feminism looks radical, people who consider themselves sensible start to pull away. It's not so much that feminism is dying, so much as it is changing. The title "feminist" should be left to the crazy bitches who think that men need to be oppressed for some feminine ideal. The feminists who are only seeking equality need a new name that doesn't have any negative connotations. I'm frequently infuriated that due to my race and gender I'm not allowed to express my opinion on shit where race and gender are concerned but minorities get to say whatever the fuck they want about me as a white male
