My family rules when it comes to random presents around holidays and birthdays. Also just random presents, but this one was a birthday package. Woo! Sounds nifty to me :) Lots of spiffy stuff. I decided to join the package gang community and get a buddy to send packages to back and forth... I figure I'll try it out for a while and see how it goes. It seems kinda fun :)

Can be lotsa fun. I hafta admit I'm bad about actually sending stuff on time. My family is much better about it than I am. But either way we get stuff to rummage through, and that's a lot of the fun.^_^

Yeah.. I like stuff like that too. Rob and Becky sent me a package once while I was at college and it was SOO much fun :)

That sounds like so much fun... you can almost see your family giggling and wraping and sticking the stuff in the box. They chuckle about what you will think of each item and how you will dig n dig in the styrofoam for all of it :).

I got a lil plush dragon from Shrek, the one with candy in her tummy? from my friend Drake in CA. And got the big plastic model that no one can find anywhere... from my friend Sean in Manitoba! My friends Rawk almost as much as your fambly.

Well, the good news is my stuff'll probably be four days LATE, because I can't work calendars right. I checked last week and thought, "Ho ho! Plenty of time." And now something hasn't come and I suck. Bah!

Is it too late for me to pretend that I think birthdays are Hallmark holidays? :P

Nope, not too late at all. ;) I'm used to my birthday not occuring on my birthday. And if your package actually does get here around July 4th, it'll be ontime for my "projected" birthday. I was supposed to be born then and was early.

Besides, it's not like I can remember the exact dates for you and eM. *grin*

Hmm.
I didn't misuse the calendar, but I am gonna have to go ghetto-budget on you this year. I don't think I got you anything last year, but that's because I was busy driving your stuff north. ^_^

Heh... I still have the card you sent me this year. "There are two very good reasons why this card is late!" ... "I bought it late and I sent it late! Happy Birthday!" Very cool. ^_~

And yes, you were. That was a pretty cool birthday present, actually. And I think we went out to eat on my actual birthday, you and me and JW, so that sorta counted too, I'd think.

*chuckles* And I'm glad you thought the card was cool. It was mostly just honest.
