I know this is really hard on you, and I don't know exactly how you feel, but I do have an idea. When my aunt died last summer it was pretty hard on my entire family, because we're pretty close together. My mom was really close to my aunt, too. She still picks up the phone and tries to call her. She also took over my aunt's business after she died, and I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is to work in her dead sister's house, with her dead sister's husband in the living room moping the entire time.
This probably isn't what you want to hear, but maybe it was better for you not to see your grampa before he died. When my aunt died she took foreeverrr and it was sooo hard. The doctors said she would last maybe 2 days, and she lived for like 2 weeks after being admitted. My family just sat in the hospital room watching her. She couldn't speak or move or anything, but you could tell when she was in pain because her eyes would widen. At least now you'll always remember the good visions of your grampa instead of

I'm so sorry, Noccy. I lost my own grandfather last August and it hit me hard to. You guys helped me a lot, even though I didn't tell you, so remember that we're always here for you.
