I'm sorry you've been going through such a horrible time these last few months. I have wondered about how you and your family were doing, so you've definitely been in my thoughts. Considering that RL is such a bitch, I think some escapism is definitely in order. Unfortunately, I tend to go for older guys, so I'm not sure if my definition of Hot would really work here...At the moment, I'm very much on the Rupert Graves train. A new series of Sherlock certainly didn't help. *g*

I looked up Rupert Graves, he's very handsome. But you need to have two guys you like and discuss pro's and con's and come up with a fav. Then I weigh in on the convo. I really just want to talk about guys and I can't really do that in RL LOL. I think Rupert Graves is an awesome start.....who's your next guy though? ;-)

By the way, my husband is 11 years older than me, so there's nothing wrong with older men :-)

Well, within the same show, I'd go for Rupert Graves and Benedict Cumberbatch. The pros for Rupert Graves is that he's Rupert Graves. *g* The cons are that he doesn't get enough screen time in Sherlock and...Well, that's about it, really. Pros for Benedict Cumberbatch is that he plays Sherlock Holmes, my favourite fictional character of all time. He also gets tons of screen time. I think he's very attractive in a rather unconventional way. Cons are that he's two years younger than me (breaking my current rule that will have to change at some point because I'm getting old) and not Rupert Graves...And this may not be the kind of discussion you were looking for. *g*

I'd forgotten that your husband was older than you. Yay older men! :-)

Hmmm, as I am currently in the throes of a full blown love affair with the new BBC show The Musketeers, I have to say Santiago Cabrera has my heart right now. I've adored him since Merlin, but he's fantastic as Aramis, charming and witty and generally just fucking awesome.

Ah, a tough one. Let me 'examine' the evidence a little closer *eyebrow wiggle* Really, all I can say is Holy smoulder eyes Batman! Santiago is all over the Hotness! Yes, there is no denying the intense steam from Nikolaj, but whoa, Santiago certainly ticks all the boxes. I remember him from Merlin, he was brilliant on it. But I remember part of me didn't like him because he was Lancelot, and I really liked Arthur :-) My vote is for Santiago, because how could it not be ;-)

This was interesting because I have ogled these two over the years myself. I have a fav of the two, mainly because of the intense, smouldering looks that he can pull off that make my knees go weak. Michael is no doubt hot. That jaw line and the ruggedness is too gorgeous not to be. But flicking through those photos you posted sent a quiver through the nether regions and there was a clear winner in James. The way he looks at that camera makes me wish I was the photographer. Though I don't think I'd get much work done, I'd be a withering puddle on the floor LOL And then he smiles and you just want to smile with him and get to know him. He's that perfect combo of cute and hot. My vote goes to James!

Okay, first, I'm so glad to see you! I have thought of you often and wondered how you were doing.

Second...I'm very sorry to hear about the suckiness of real life at present. I understand not wanting to talk about it (and also the fear of never stopping once you start, a common problem of mine) but if you ever decide to vent I'd be happy to provide a shoulder to cry on or something to punch.

Finally...hot guys as a diversion? That is a plan I can get behind. Since no one has done it yet, I'll go with the age old Sam vs Dean...or Jared vs Jensen question.

Okay! Two actors that I like at the moment are Richard Madden (Game of Thrones, Klondike) and Aneurin Barnard (Richard of Gloucester in The White Queen.)

Madden has reddish-brown hair and lovely blue eyes. His acting is subtle and intense. He bared just about everything in the GoT episode The Bear and the Maiden Fair and it was good! He looks fine with a beard.

Now Aneurin - I'm actually surprised I find him attractive because he's boyish and a bit pretty, but with long hair and an intense bit of acting in The White Queen I found him striking. I've also liked him in a few other things.

Very nice picks! I had a favourite straight away though. I can see how you find Aneurin extremely attractive, he has a very intense, sort of almost vulnerable look about him. I found him slightly too Emo looking for my taste. I think I would like to see him acting though, some of the photo's I saw of him were amazing.
Richard Madden however got my full attention straight away! He is all kinds of hot and really looks sexy with that beard. I find there aren't really a lot of men who can actually make beards sexy, Mark Ryan is one but Richard Madden is definitely another. So my vote goes to Richard Madden! nomnomnom
