Okay one thing, why do guys have to be such jerks? Even me? Wow, Calvin! That's quite impressive and eloquent. And the fact that it comes from a guy makes it all the more meaningful. I don't think I've ever heard a guy speak so deeply about his sex's faults. You should be proud of yourself. And also proud of the fact that you are a brain thinker - cause you are!

Ha ha. Just kidding Calvin:-). So, I'm going to be a psychologist for a minute. Why are guys as Calvin described? Upbring and standards of society? Or is it genes? Personally, I think a lot of it has to do with genes. Guys brains are simply wired very differently. We are very visual. We can make a decission about whether something (more specifically, a girl) looks good within 1/10th of a second, but we can spend hours taking it in. I think girls react quite differently. From second-hand reports and observations, it seems that girls have to observe a guy a little bit longer. They want to pick-up his style, not just a picture. I could be wrong, but whatever. I'm on the Internet. I can say what I want.

I think that the majority of what you said is true. Guys are stupid, period. We tend to lock up our feelings, due to some stupid need for masculine stoicism. But I refuse to believe that it's 100% our fault. It does seem like girls tend to take comments the wrong way, which, I may add, is a contributing factor in why guys can be so unwilling to open up about their feelings. We feel like we have to walk on eggshells around you girls, because if we accidentally say the wrong thing (either in jest, or something we really mean), then we get burned for it. Let's face it, girls and guys simply don't speak the same language. And it's likely we never, ever will. Ladies, we guys hope you realize that we, even the "brain thinkers", are not a very clever lot when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex. We WILL invariably say the wrong thing, even when we think we're saying the right thing. We really don't want to be disrespectful, we're trying to communicate as best we can. So please, until we can develop a means of communication ( ... )

well peter, brain thinkers are clever...just look at how many girls responded to my entry? huh? well, at least i am clever. ha, no really, you do have good points, and girls do take a lot personally, and everything. so yeah, moral of the story is, if no one talks, we are all good.
