Yesterday (Sunday), Isaac and I met with Father Jack about getting married. We officially saved the date for our wedding insanely early (yes! it's in PEN!), but it's cool, becuase he does that, and it helps that Peg works with him :) (That also saved us from putting the deposit down now for saving the date) mwahahaha. moving on ( Read more... )

Yea, until I have gone to get a dress to wear, you aren't really getting married. I don't know if I can handle this. I'm glad that you're going through the channels with the church though. With my non-religious self, it's important to realize that someone out there wants to make sure that you are solid in your relationship....etc etc.

I'm glad you are having fun with the organization!

Girl, I already know where all my bridesmaids are getting their dresses ;)

Well, you're going to half to realize that I'm not going to *look* the way I do now then....if that makes any sense. I have goals baby, goals! Of course, I won't look like your sister (ridiculous girl)....but maybe more like high school self. Wouldn't that be nice??

no worries, it's a line of same-colored seperates, so you guys aren't all wearing the same thing (for obvious reasons), but still match, color-wise. And me too on the goals ;)

yay! scott and i had our first pre-marital counseling session today. it wasn't too bad, but scott is so not religious. anyways, good luck with all of your wedding plans. if you need any help, just let me know. although you might now want my help, procrastinator that i am!

what denomination/church are you getting married in/with? I saw you guys set the wedding for next month! my goodness, that is coming up fast!! I'd be having a cardiac at this point if I were you- I'm amazed how you can take care of Joshka and plan a wedding and everything else you have to do day to day. I most certainly salute you ;)

it's a Nazarene church. scott grew up going to that church, and since we're getting married in his home town it's natural to get married there. plus i kind of jumped from church to church when i was younger, so i'm not too picky. lol, planning is going pretty smoothly (hopefully the vfw will call me back tomorrow *crosses fingers*). and my life isn't really all that hectic. joshka is a wonderful baby. he loves to watch cartoons (is that bad?) while i clean and stuff.
