I'm going to try and make an actual update on the things that happened in Russia instead of just highlighting a few of them. It's weird to think that I only have about 40 days left here and that there's still so much we have left to do and see. Next weekend, we're going to Finland and Estonia, and we have a bunch of concerts and other events to go

Ooooh. I actually like sour cream. LOL. I remember once Alison was complaining about Aleksey putting sour cream on everything he eats, "EVEN TACOS!" and I was like "Uh... I put it on my tacos too, what is your damage?"

LOL. But man, I can imagine some of things I eat regularly would be hard to find.

I wish there was cheap and clean and thorough (>.> sounds like this is going somewhere different) public transportation in the states. We're so obsessed with our cars though. :\

ah! i tried responding to this earlier but it didn't work :( anyway, sour cream on tacos is actually pretty normal! it was part of the default option at maria's when i worked there - but in every soup with lots of dill? mixed with lumpy cheese and sugar? whaaaat.

and yeah, i mean we have the dc metro which is awesome but super expensive unless you're just using it to go to the zoo on the weekend or something, and you don't only pay to ride, but you pay for the distance that you do (wtf) instead of just getting a token or one ticket or something.
