Senior Year Actually

School started on Tuesday. I stayed up until 4 am the day before trying to finish my summer assignments. The next day I stayed up until 2 am doing math homework for my Calc class. Every year, since freshman year, I've stayed up late at night doing math homework the first day of school. I guess the school year doesn't start right without math ( Read more... )

I was about to be happy bc you're taking stats too instead of doing real math, but then I realized you were taking stats AND real math. Way to burst my bubble.

That sounds like a pretty intense schedule: 4 AP classes and 2 college ones. Where do you want to attend next year?

No number one choice. Stanford is a reach but it has the second best undergrad engineering program in the counrty. JHU or Duke if BME plays out. Right now CMS is my safety and HMC a good match. Doesn't help that I'm ranked number one. Colleges get a perverse pleasure of rejecting us or so i'm told.

you'll be fine. There's at all nothing wrong with you academics-wise, and you're more driven than anyone else I know.

JHU BME would be an amazing accomplishment, Asmita. I'm guessing you want to go to med school?

I'm guessing you'll also throw one to that venerable place called MIT?
