Finally saw Love Actually. I've been dying to see it ever since last Christmas, but couldn't since no one would go with me and since it was R rated. Cute movie. Loved all the Brits. Loved all the cute intertwining love stories. Could have done without the the stand-in porn stars part and the Wisconsin girls part. Totally unnecessary. Made a really ( Read more... )

I love sappy. Yeah, it's sad that BJP's out. But my dad enlightened me this weekend on what the congress party winning means for India. At least we know India's moving away from its prejudiced state if its supporting a secular government. But I want Mahatmohan Singh to be PM and not Sonia Gandhi. Too bad my dad can't enlighten me further. He's in Australia. Know anything about Australian politics?

I know a little. The conservatives (under PM John Howard) are in power there, and they're not really doing much, especially with the asylum problems and so on.
