So here we be as another fine week in Freiburg draws to a close. I really love it here and it'll be extremely difficult to come back home and settle back into ''real'' college life again, but what are you going to do? Cart piercings are great, and yes, if you dont want it anymore, it will beal back up rather quickly. I had both of mine done a few summers ago, and then decided to take one ring out, and put a stud in the other.

The only downside I know of, is that my ears were sore for a month or so while the cartiledge healed. Also, when/if you have it done, have them use a needle instead of the stud gun, because the gun can shatter your remaining cart, and cause infections.

So because of this soreness, dont get both done on the same night... I had an interesting time falling asleep when they got tender:)
