I don't know where I am with LJ at the moment. I'm about but I'm jumping between this account and the old one so I can read Cathy's Peacock Gown posts as it's the other account that's on the filter. Plus there's a few people who never did add this one so if I want to see what they're doing I have to jump over. But I don't really want to use that

It's going to be good I think. It's 20 minutes drive away though, I just wish it was a bit nearer.

Following up on my resolution to comment more rather than just reading :)

A place to work and cut, that is amazing! I really need that I'm getting quite claustrophobic in my tiny studio. It feels bigger than it is but there is just not enough room.

I really like my part time job. I teach CAD pattern cutting 4-10 times a month. Sometimes more sometimes less depending on the workload. Basically I go to fashion companies in London and beyond and train professionals. I get to go to new places and see how different workrooms operate. And I get to use the program, which I'm now using for things to be revealed at some point :D

I'm the same. My room at home is fine for working on corsets but when a skirt is involved it feels cramped. Also it means for the alterations work they don't have to leave the premises, which is less stressful and saves me on insuring them!

That sounds great, just getting to see into different working environments will be fascinating in itself. Ah, so that's why you've been around about the country so much recently :) It'll keep you on the ball too, having regular contact with other designers and getting to use the program so often.

Yes, I keep meaning to. It wasn't an issue before when the posts were occasional, but now she's getting into the meat of it I'm to and fro a lot more.
