I did a bit of experimenting with my embroidery machine yesterday! I've caught the bug ;)

After getting it I just never got around to buying more supplies and trying things out but as I need to use it for a job I've had a push. Also, seeing   pandaemonaeum 's very cool results has got my interest up again. I think also I was put off by a few early screw ups. I'

When I used to use mine I couldn't bring myself to do other tasks, was too scared of leaving it running unsupervised, lol! I'm sure it would have been fine, I'm just a jessie...

Are you considering more experiments like your black-on-black piece?

Maybe, I've no real plans yet other than for the order that will need some embroidery and I don't know yet whether that's going to be gussets or feature panels - waiting on her response. Short term I might do some lingerie pouches and things for these markets. I've got a stack of old damask table-linens which are only fit for cutting up and would be ideal for things like that.
