Fortunately I saved the PSD for this icon so it wasn't hard making this! :)

1. Prep your base to your liking (I used duplicated screen and soft light laters) and then add this texture by midnight_road and set it to Soft Light at 53%.

2. Add this texture by innocent_lexys and set it to Soft Light at 100%.

3. Add a Gradient Map by going to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Gradient Map and use #f75252 and #21121b.

4. Add a Brightness/Contrast layer and set the Contrast at 39.

5. Take this texture by lessrest (I darkened it with Curves and used Gaussian Blur on until it looked like this) and set it to Lighten at 38%.

6. Take this texture by innocent_lexys (I apploed Gaussian Blur to it at a very high setting until it looked like this) and rotate it 90 degrees clock-wise and set it to Lighten at 35%.

7. Next, take this texture by lumsx (I used Gaussian Blur on it and and inverted until it looked like this, as you can tell I really like doing this..) and set it to Soft Light at 100%. Duplicate that layer and reduce the opacity to 41%.

8. Add a Selective Coloring layer with the following settings (I only altered the Red section):

9. Take this texture by innocent_lexys (again, I darkened it with Curves until it looked like this) and set it to Screen.

10. Press Ctrl+Shift+E to Stamp Visible (copy all current layers onto one new layer) and go to Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask with the following settings and then reduce the opacity to 30%:

11. Stamp everything once more and use the smudge tool at 18% exposure with a 2-3 pixel brush and smudge along the lines of Desmond's nose, forehead and hand because they are a bit too sharp in my opinion.

12. Add this screencap of the Lost numbers that I darkened, rotated and set it to Lighten on the right side of the icon.

13. This last step was really accidental. I pasted this screencap on the icon and set it to Lighten and it looked good without even needing to resize or move it!

This was my first tutorial, so apologies in advance if it looks messy! I hope I did an alright job and let me know if you have any questions or if I messed up anywhere. I'm going to try my hand at a composition guide that rocketgirl2 requested sometime soon, too!

Edited to make this tutorial much prettier than it was in the first place!
