it is 11:53pm and i am finally sitting down to relax. today hasn't been stressful per se, just frustrating. work was full of people calling in with problems that didn't make any sense -- as in, they were pretty much impossible -- and yet the problems somehow existed. they were all pretty nice people, not angry or anything, but at one point i was ( Read more... )

Whenever people call tech support, the first thing the representative asks is, "Is the power on?" and they always feel really indignant that this person dares ask this ridiculous question, but yeah, this is the one time this is actually a factor. :o But either way, thankfully, your computer is okay. Fixing computers is expensive. DD:

i actually had a guy who didn't have his modem on. XD he was grumpy and like RAH RAH BLOODY INTERNET BLOODY TROUBLE RAH RAH and i was like, "okay, let's sort this out-- what lights on the modem are showing?" and he was like "none," and i was like, "... none? not even the power?" and he was like "OH".

i know man, i was devastated last night when i thought i'd have to bring it to get repaired. DD:
