They made one at MSOE last year. It didn't quite have the software and peripheral support, but the same base functionality is there. The concept has been around since forever, it's just been much, much cheaper to make single-receive screens.
However, it hasn't been marketed yet because of it's limited functionality. Aside from pictures, video, and maps, it doesn't quite have as much versatility as an average computer because of device support. Peripheral support will be a freaking nightmare unless they were to take upon a partnership with another company (Verizon phones, Kodak cameras, etc). Of course, making it price hell for the customer because of the monopoly of any compatible device, like Apple has.

You'll only find these as novelty items.
