Proceed as before
Things are going pretty well. My trip to Missouri was really good, and I met some great people there in the historical society that might very well have changed the focus of my thesis. It could be way sweeter now, and that's always good...I like sweeter.
I'm constantly behind now. Since I did no work last week except on my thesis, I am still not caught up on assignments from last week that are due tomorrow. I can crank them out this afternoon, though. I hope I can at least.
Other than that, life is good. I'm still debating over where to go for Thanksgiving. Going to my mom's sounds like the best option right now, but I kind of want to go to Aaron's, too. But, I won't see my mom for a long time otherwise. So, I'll probably go to my mom's.
I really want to ride my bike, but it's ass cold outside, and I'm lazy. I want to work out today though, so I can kick some ass as Batgirl on Friday. In Batman Begins (my inspiration for being Batgirl) Batman works out all ninja-like, doing pushups on poles etc. Defeating evil requires toned biceps.
I'm in the Fishbowl right now scanning stuff for this thing we're going to do in class. Soon, I will go for a run, and then work on homework before class. Tonight I'm going to paint banners for Pops, and then do more work.
This week should be pretty awesome, all things considering...we're talking about sex and the Bible at church, and I might go see John Edwards speak on Friday, and I'm meeting with my partner for IGR to work on our facilitation, and then Aaron's party on Friday! Oh, and a possible UUSRL party on Friday, flag football on Friday, and maybe apple picking on Saturday!!
Damn, I live in some sort of wacky combination of liberal post-modern dialoguing and good old fashioned All-American pasttimes. Maybe I'll make an apple pie, too.
It's been really good to spend time with the roommates. I've had a lot of spontaneous fun this year just sitting around talking about crap with them. I'm going to miss living with people. I mean, I won't be a hermit, but probably soon I won't be living with my best friends anymore. Waaaah! But for now I am going to enjoy the fact that I've still got 6 months to wank around.
