recent good things:
- i woke up today.
- i have 10 dates for valentines day. (okay, so they're all singers i have no romantic inclinations for. it still counts.)
- had a good chat over lunch yesterday.
- taught for an hour today, which affirmed that i want to teach more, asap.
- kicked messiaen's theoretical and proverbial ass. moving on to boulez with fervour. (fervor? furvour?)
- hugh has kenny wheeler big band charts. with voice parts. yesssss!!
- having coffee with my roomie from first year tomorrow, who i haven't seen in months and months.
- cabaret tomorrow night. breaking out a little black number... but which one? hmm.
- reading break is imminent, which means a) tour, and b) home, and all it entails.
- third straight day of sunshine = good vit D levels, general spring-ish feeling, more energy
- have been refusing to be pessimistic. at all. ever.
