I'd show everyone what I'm wearing to the date auction as is the current trend except that I'm not going.

Perhaps I should come up with something to go out and do on that night so I'm not just sitting in my room again. Is anyone else not planning to attend?

You know I really don't know? I've been cooped up in my room basically all semester as well. All I know is that there are many restaraunts I've never been to and a park where the most random things are guarunteed to occur.

It just seems like everything bizarre happens there. Such as seeing an acquaintance being apparently threatened (but not threatened? I don't know the story. I didn't ask) or literally running into your suitemate who was fleeing from the store where they shoplifted a bag of cookies. It's like the whole place has bad karma.

... I, too, plan to avoid it like the plague. Of course, plans are subject to change, however I doubt these will.
