The middle or second born child or children often have the sense of not belonging. They fight to receive attention from parents and others because they feel many times they are being ignored or dubbed off as being the same as another sibling. While it is very true that circumstance and situation can and are major contributing factors to a person's personality or psyche, we are all each of us an individual with our own will. This will to choose our own path is what makes us deviate from generalizations such as those stated above. You yourself have stricken out, albeit possibly due to reasons of lower expectation from yourself than perhaps any objective truth, certain traits that belong to the middle-child generalization. Does this not prove that we are all of our own?
