I really like the purple ones like you have but I just don't think they'd go with enough of my clothing so I got the grey... figured they'd be pretty safe.

Do you have any of the shoes? I was thinking about getting a pair of the moccasins or something but Zappos have them listed as slippers... I want to make sure I'll be able to wear them outside.

I went to a movie by myself once, I actually really liked it. I didn't have to share my popcorn or miss the movie previews and I got to see He's Just Not That Into You without getting an eye roll. hehe. I LOVE Hocus Pocus I would have totally gone with you. :D
