You'll get through it, friend...benlarkin87July 30 2008, 12:32:38 UTC
Many of those thoughts resonate with me. I think with Scott you are doubting yourself. You seem unable to accept yourself as you are, so then you ask how Scott possibly could? The thing is, what you are portraying to Scott is the version of you that you want to show to everyone. You don't want to be this guilty, confused individual. Sometimes we don't have the explanation for others' feelings. He was drawn to you for a reason. I would just accept his love. Aisling seems so attached to me, and I'm still confused over that, but I just accept her feelings and move on. Making her aware of all of my faults (according to me) will hardly solve anything. Her opinion won't change. The same, I reckon, is the case for Scott. He doesn't love happy Lisa, or sad Lisa, or whatever. He just loves you for being you. And sorry missy, but you can't not be you, so there! :P

Howdy Lise...
Through my minor extra life experience I have gotten, I have realised that only a fraction of people think like you do. I understand everything you say, but to expect that everyone else thinks like you and has the same expectations/thoughts is unrealistic. You might think other people just dont get you or whatever, but really, you have a little over analysing tendency. Not going to call it a problem, thats too far imo.. Everyone's own train of that is different, and realise that yours is quite separate, special and not a burden, its how you are and it will never change...not that it needs to. Every part of you makes you what you are and without even the smallest thing, you could appear completely different to people. That seems hella vague and it is, because they are just too many different possible scenarios... Don't see it as a problem or that you are inadequate...nobody else does
