Good vs. Evil ll_cool_rob March 28 2008, 02:29:06 UTC
It's a cop out to write a good vs. evil story. Real life hardly works that way. It's all point of view. Antagonists don't have to be evil, only fighting against what the protagonist is trying to accomplish. People some might consider "evil" are doing the right thing in their own minds.

A great example is Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime). San is trying to save the forest and the spirits that inhabit it. Lady Eboshi seems like she's trying to destroy the forest and spirits but she's only trying to help her people.

Just an observation.

You need to read Kushiel's Justice. The sequel to Imriel's story. It's awesome, it made me cry.

Go hunt down a copy of Grunts! by Mary Gentle. The orcs are the "heroes."

And I think I asked before but: What WoW server?

It seems like the best way to get together with my friends on the various and sundry servers is that world arena server.
